Bever Park. At the beginning of the summer the girls and I made a list of all the things that we wanted to do together over our 10 glorious weeks of vacation. Each of us had very different things in mind, but one of my favorites came from Grace's list....#2. Visit every single park. I have to admit...there are way more parks in this city than I had ever imagined so we cheated a little bit. After driving over to Cherry Hill I decided to refine her goal to "visit every single park within a 20 minute drive." Cherry Hill...you were lovely, but not worth the 35 minutes it took to get there! It was a close race...and we all had different #1 picks, but I guess since it was Grace's idea we'll go with her pick. No doubt, there was a bias towards this park because of the zoo. How can you compete with story time at Old McDonalds farm? There is something about those cute bunnies, calves and goats that make me think this should be considered separate from the park itself. Emma's first pick was Tucker Park as one of her favorite splash pads is there...it may carry a bit of a bias as well since we visited it multiple times this summer. Our vote for Norah goes to Thomas park as it carries the most shade and is most convenient with a stroller and newborn. My favorite...Donnelly park. Just a short jaunt from our house it is convenient, clean, and peaceful. Nestled among cute little houses, it is almost always empty, giving you the feel that all of this awesome play equipment is in your very own back yard. What is your favorite park?
