Day 5

Today I am thankful for Saturdays. For us, Saturdays are the perfect mix of family time and crossing things off the to-do list. It's a day for doing everything we want to do...sleeping in (6AM counts, right?), snuggling on the couch, Saturday morning cartoons...but also a day to get groceries, work on projects and clean the house. This Saturday we checked all of these things off our list by 11...just in time to eat lots of yummy food and watch the Iowa game together. Finish the day with lots of play time, doing a family project together and playing endless games of Chutes and Ladders and Yahtzee and you could call it the perfect Saturday. I'm so thankful this day comes around once a week! :)
