Advent Day 9

Todays tag read, "Help those in need." Tonight we headed out to ring the bell for the Red Kettle Drive for Salvation Army. It was a frigid 10 degrees, but the girls did great...and who knew that cute kids could rake in the dough. I'm taking Mark's word for it, as I only snuck outside long enough to check in on them and snap a photo, but he said everyone that walked by was SOO giving! It was way too cold for Norah to be outside so Norah and I hung out in the cafe while they rang the bell. Afterwards we headed to out to shop for our sponsor families. The girls loved having a chance to shop for "boy toys" since there aren't any little boys in our family to shop for so they filled the cart with tons of cars and trucks!

Adorable little bell ringers.

Jaclyn, you never cease to amaze me! What a lesson about the giving of time and money. You are creating so many wonderful memories for your family and teaching them about the greatest gift of all!!
