Our tag today said, "Drink some hot chocolate" so day 2 of the countdown included a trip downtown for the "Peppermint Walk" What better way to drink hot chocolate than out in the cold, watching the lighting of the town tree, horse drawn carriage rides, and a visit with good ole' Saint Nick and his reindeer.
The horses were HUGE and all decked out in Christmas lights. The big girls loved our frigid ride around town...Norah - not so much.
After some warming up at the library we headed over to meet Santa's reindeer...Grace says it was Blitzen.
As luck would have it we ran into some friends while we were there!
Fulfilling our advent tag...yummy hot chocolate!
As for our mischievous elf she returned from the North Pole only to be caught in the shower this morning. Good thing she had on a towel!
