Our darling diva couldn't wait to enter the 50's on Friday. She was so excited for her sock hop at school and it was fun to watch her at her "first school dance." As a chaperone, I have to say, it was way more fun chaperoning a school dance for K-5 than for highschool!

G&E about killed eachother trying out all their fancy dance moves before the dance. Em was a little sad since she thought she looked like a boy in her rolled jeans and white shirt, but she got over that quickly. Her sock hop is on Wednesday, so she'll get to wear her poodle skirt soon enough.
The limbo was a big hit. I was acting "judge" so it was hard calling the kids out and finding a winner, but Grace loved holding the limbo bar for all the other grades.
The DJ was awesome and Grace wasn't shy. She was up by the speaker with the 5th graders a good portion of the night. It was funny to watch her and one other kindergartener at the front leading all the big kids in the "Macarena." My favorite though was watching the kindergarteners start a conga line.
