Reason #501

I'm guestimating...but I think I am at least at my 500th reason as to why I love not working. So reason number 501...early dismissal days with warm (ish) weather. When I picked Grace up from school today, she was happy to report that the thermometer was in the green for the first time this January. For a kindergartener, blue and green are important colors because once it gets to purple, it's too cold to play outside at recess. While my teacher friends were sitting through in-service, I was out with my three favorite ladies buidling snowmen, making snow angels, ice skating and having a snow ball fight. To top it all off...my little chef made some delicious chocolate chip muffins this morning that we dunked in our hot chocolate for a tasty after-snow snack.
