Spring Break

We decided to get away for an overnight of relaxation and swimming at Grand Harbor. The girls loved the waterpark and couldn't get enough of the slides.

The view from our room was incredible. The girls stood at the window just watching the barges and boats going up and down the river.

Someone was excited to swim!

The girls started off on the little slide, but soon lost interest when they realized there were big slides awaiting them.

The splash area was lots of fun for the big girls and gave Norah a chance to sit and splash in water her size.

Emma liked the fountains...until she and daddy got in trouble for stepping on them to make them higher.

Grace's favorite slide was the biggest one that went outside! She loved riding down it on the tubes and coming out under a waterfall.

Riding the snake. Perfect for practicing their swimming since it was teathered in the middle of the pool...it was a good resting point.

Emma did the big slides by herself the first time, but after going down so fast that she flipped over and came down head first she decided maybe she preferred to go down with mommy and daddy instead.

Grace loved the slides so much that she decided she didn't need anyone to go with her. She found her friends Emily and Addy from school and decided they were more fun to play with than mommy and daddy.

Mmm...pizza and pretzels. Nothing like a healthy dinner to fuel our bellies for more swimming!

Mark made a few friends at the waterpark too. A few boys had fun waiting each time he and Emma climbed up to the slides so they could dump the bucket on him. They were so sweet, they waited for Emma to pass each time and just got Mark. They had perfect timing...try as he might, Mark couldn't quite fake them out.

This little girl was all tuckered out after her day of swimming.
