Karma?

Being a stay at home mom has it's perks, but maintaining a clean house isn't one of them. I definitely took for granted the fact that when I left the house to go to work in the morning, my mess makers went with me. I loved that the house that I returned to in the afternoon, was in the same condition in which I had previously left it that morning...clean.

Fast forward a year and I can't keep up. As soon as I wash windows, I find little noses and sticky fingers pressed all over them. As soon as I wash dishes, it's time to make the next snack or meal. And lets not mention the number of times one can pick up the SAME toy in a single day hour.  

So, last night as I was watching the girls tediously tiding their dollhouse, I had to laugh at how FURIOUS they got when, with the sweep of one adorable chubby arm, their hard work was wiped away. Call me cold-hearted, but I almost laughed out loud.
