I love bookclub. It is a great excuse to meet up with friends over the summer and read some books that I normally might not read on my own. This weeks pick, The Great Gatsby. I read this book in high school and wasn't too impressed, so I thought I would re-read it and my older and wiser self would find something that I missed those many years ago. Unfortunately, whatever it is that I was seeking I didn't find. It was still a great night with friends though.
