Updating the blog has become bottom of the priority list and I'm struggling to keep up with it. So, here is the sparks notes version of whats happening in our wild lives. 10 posts condensed into 10 bullet points.
1. We have a new bike rider. Grace has ditched the training wheels and is speeding down the street in style these days. She was so determined to figure it out by the time we got back from Mexico. When we returned, she was riding about 15 feet! Now, she is riding all the way around the block...so proud of her!
2. We have an almost walker. Norah has been taking 3-4 steps to get to where she wants to go. It won't be long and she'll be really keeping up with her sisters.
3. Emma is getting braver by the minute. She has been trying really hard to keep up with her big sister. She has been practicing riding her bike without training wheels and is getting much braver in the water. She even went down the big blue slide at the pool!
4. Grace is swimming. She has fallen in love with the cannonball and spends almost as much time under water as she does above water. We have spent almost every day at the pool and she is really loving it.
5. Norah has a tooth! It finally poked through last night, hopefully the nights of swollen gums and pain are finally about over.
6. Mark is crazy busy at work...shocker. Upon return from Mexico he has been playing catch up. He did sneak away to the pool with us last night though which was AWESOME! The girls were in heaven!
7. Running has become SLOW. After not running while we were on vacation it feels like I'm running in sand now...with lead weights tied to my shoes...and a parachute on my back. How can it take months to build up the miles and only a matter of days to lose them all? My lungs = on fire!
8. I have fallen in love. Don't get me wrong, I have always been in love with my husband, but reconnecting in Mexico took me back to that gushy..."you're so dreamy"... type love. I have to say, falling in love the second time around was even more fun that falling in the love the first time because you're actually old enough to understand how BIG of a deal it is. I'm so thankful to have had an opportunity for uninterrupted conversation, finished thoughts and planning for the next 10 years!
9. With all the good comes all the bad. While I take my turn at thankfulness for the good, I'm praying for so many friends that are struggling with the not-so-good. Lately, I have found myself wrapped up in so many painful conversations and am praying for my friends battling the loss of babies, the loss of parents, divorce, cancer, illness, and all around daily struggles that at times are all consuming. Many thoughts and prayers...
10. And so as to not end on a sad thought...I will be welcoming my 32nd birthday this week. I truly think the 30's have been my favorite. Many people say the 20's are the best, I would like to think they are wrong. What is your "best year" so far? For me, 22 was great, new husband, new job, new house, new dog, new car...lots of new. But I'm looking forward to 32...great husband, stable job, broken in house, faithful dog, and a car that fits it all!

25- loved it. for being so nervous about turning 25, it was the best!
I have loved my 30s so far. They have been the best of times (new baby, new house, new car, new adventures) and the worst of times (mom's death), but I wouldn't have it any other way!
25 was my favorite! Marriage and a marathon are hard to top, but it will be done. Thanks for being a listening ear and a prayerful person. LOVE!
