My sister and I don't ever get a chance to run together, so it was super fun to get to do the 5K on the fourth with her. It was fun to meet a lot of new people, and experience the joys of a small town run. After starting 15 minutes late, being assigned numbers on clothes pins instead of running bibs, and getting directions based off landmarks such as, "run up past my house" it was fun to join a whopping 20 other runners. The course was quick and shady and had an awesome small town charm. Bonus...when there are so few runners, everyone gets a door prize!
