Back to school

A true sign of back to school......a closet filled with red, white, and blue uniforms and jumpers!
Now that I am back in the swing of things, it's time to get the girls off and running. Norah started in her new room at daycare today and it was GREAT! She has a new teacher (one of my former students which is awesome) and there are fewer kids in her room (only 6) so it is really nice to have a bit less chaos. She is transitioning really well and we are excited that she can finally start to settle into her new routine. Grace met her new teacher today also.  Tomorrow's the BIG day! Our first grader dropped off all her school supplies today, picked her new seat, found her locker and got all settled in for a great year. She is excited to be in a class with one of her best friends and the associate from Kindergarten followed her class so she is excited about that. She is nervous that she won't be a good enough reader (she's way too hard on herself) and she's nervous about helping at mass in front of the whole school, but other than that...she's pumped!

Emma had supply drop off today as well. She doesn't start until next Monday but she is excited that the teacher and associate that she has had for the last 2 weeks while I was at school will be her teacher and associate for the school year. She already knows a few people in her class and she is excited to be at school every day!
