We weren't sure how things were going to go for Grace in soccer this year as she moved to a bigger field and doubled the length of each quarter (games are now 40 minutes long) so we knew she would run out of gas by the end of the first quarter. However, after her first game, she was really pumped about how much fun she had. She ran really hard the whole time, and she loved finally playing different positions. No shock, my lazy bones preferred being a defender to a forward, but she also knows she'll never score back there so it's extra motivation to get her out front. With only one sub on the team, she was exhausted after the game, but she did great.

It was fun to see her way more aggressive than in the past.
She even got checked by another player!
The girls' number 1 fan. Something tells me she'll be sitting through quite a few soccer games by the time she is big enough to play!
