Often times during Christmas break although we are on vacation, we find it hard to really enjoy the break as we are too busy trying to catch up. Mark (although he took vacation time) usually has to work. I usually have papers to grade or planning for school. Let's not even mention how much our house needs to be cleaned. In order to avoid an unrelaxing break...we decided to schedule a "hookey" day. A few weeks ago we planned out that the 27th would be a day spent in PJ's doing nothing but playing with new toys. No cleaning, no laundry, no unpacking...just playing. It was awesome and left us all feeling as though we had time to really enjoy what they break is all about....QUALITY time with family. 
We must have spent 6 hours building Legos.
