1000 pieces later...a spring break recap

Spring break was awesome. Though the weather was cruddy, it was a great week spent catching up. It was fun to have the girls home all week and they were determined to spend the entire week in their PJ's. Mission accomplished! Each night at bath time they would take off their PJ's and put on some new ones! They even bundled up and rode bikes outside in their jammies! It was a mission I was more than happy to help them fulfill. As for productivity...we crossed off a TON on our to-do list. We spent the first weekend in Manchester getting our taxes taken care of and relaxing with family. Monday I cooked all day and added 8 meals to the freezer and made enough breakfast burritos for Mark for a month. Tuesday I went shopping and got the girls all set for summer...poor Grace has grown 3 inches and doesn't fit in anything. Wednesday we spring cleaned....everything! It felt so good to pick up what has been neglected since basically August and clean out some closets, the pantry, and just tidy things up. We also got some appointments out of the way. Thursday we spent finishing up things on the girls' to-do list. Monday they made a list of every toy in the house and they were determined to play with everything before Friday. They also finished off a 1,000 piece puzzle that they had been working on since Thanksgiving. I was thankful to finally get to pack that thing away, it was really hard! Friday we finished all of our plans for a trip to Disney world this summer and baking and cooking for 2 birthday parties on Saturday. Saturday we partied with a houseful of people to celebrate Emma's birthday and Sunday...was the day of rest! The week went far too fast. On the downward slope now!
