5 already?!

I can't believe that Emma is 5! She continues to amaze us daily with her profound questioning of ...everything! She is one of the funniest girls, and we often question where she comes up with half of her information. She still prefers to spend her time doing artistic and crafty things as opposed to being outside or playing sports. She loves to color, play with play-doh, and could spend hours doing puzzles. It is fun to see how her larger-than-life personality seeks refuge in quiet activity. Emma loves school and is very excited to go to Kindergarten and be in the "big" school with her sister. At conferences her teacher says that she often has to remind Emma that she is only allowed to do her own work, as her friends often ask her to do their work for them when she finishes with hers. She continues to be filled with a range of emotions and definitely wears her heart on her sleeve.
