Coloring eggs

One of our favorite Easter activities...coloring eggs. Though we were short on eggs this year (a few girls preferred eating them to coloring them) we still had a few of each color. This year the girls enjoyed transforming their colored eggs into magical fairy tale characters. This year was by far my favorite as far as egg-coloring and listening to the stories they came up with.

Norah was a pro at coloring Easter eggs.

Emma's eggs turned out awesome...who knew if you accidently broke them they dyed in super neat patterns.  Our little Picasso had a blast.

Grace, of course, took her egg coloring seriously. Very methodical and clean.

Rescuing them from the dye.

Decorating the princess egg.

Their fairytale family complete with king, queen, 2 princess, prince, knight, 2 horses and a carriage. My princesses did an egg-ceptional job if you ask me!
