Saturday was a whirlwind of fun. Though I love having all of the chaos of a birthday wrapped up into one day, having 2 parties in a day is overwhelming. We started at Chuck E Cheese at 10AM so Grace could celebrate with her friends and then raced back home to finish prepping at home for the family party. It was a crazy busy day, but lots of fun. Most important...Grace loved it! She chose a rainbow theme for her party this year. What I thought would be simple...a few rainbow colored decorations...soon creeped over to rainbow food as well!
Grace wanted a BBQ again this year. In typical birthday fashion, it rained. Quite fitting as you need a little rain if you're going to make rainbows! The fruit tray might have been my favorite. I love pinterest!

She has been wanting the game Twister for the longest time...very appropriate for our rainbow theme!
