Family Reunion

The beginning of August we spent the weekend in Des Moines for a family reunion on my mom's side. It was a blast like always. Here are some highlights of our trip to Adventureland...I especially love the one of Mark and my parents in the teacup...without any kiddos. :)

After a day of fun we headed to the hotel to catch up with the rest of the family. The girls loved swimming  hot tubbing (the pool was like 60degrees) and learning how to make survival bracelets. My favorite was sorting through all of the old pictures and listening to stories.  I pray for time to sit down and write the stories that go with these photos...so much to learn.
