We spent Thanksgiving down at my parents enjoying food, family and fun all-the-while knowing that when we said good-bye, it would only be for 24 hours. Saturday, we headed back home to surprise my dad for his 60th birthday. Though not until December, we thought an early celebration would keep him surprised. Not to mention the next day his entire family would be coming into town for their Christmas celebration, so they could all come a little sooner to start the celebration early. It worked...when my dad walked in, he looked shocked.
