I am super lucky to work with some awesome co-workers. They are the sanity to a busy school year. Whether it the much needed FAC (Friday After Class) celebration, a trip to the winery to escape reality for a little while, or a batch of gluttonous wontons as I eat away my school woes after a crazy week, I am thankful for other teacher-friends who help me cope. They teach me to be a better teacher, a better friend, a better wife and a better mom. I don't have to explain myself to them. I can vent with them understanding that I do know how blessed I am, I do understand that my problems are not large scale, but sometimes it just feels good to let out your frustrations and fears. I can celebrate with them, laugh with them, mourn with them, remember with them, and whatever the occasion, I know I'll walk away feeling better. Most days I don't even get to see them, but knowing they are down the hall with the same questions, the same technology glitches, the same angst-ridden teenagers, makes me feel better. It never fails, the days that I feel like I can't handle it, I will find an email in my inbox that makes me smile. A few weeks ago, this treat was just what I needed.

Cheers to the friends at work that keep me sane, I could never thank you enough!
