Last day of school

The end of the school year was crazy as always, but flying out the last day of school for Spain made things incredibly crazy. We didn't want the girls to miss their last day of school as it is a great day of mass, awards, hugs, and good-byes. The girls both had exceptional growth physically, academically, emotionally, and spiritually this year, no doubt due to the amazing teachers they had. Grace spent many a lunch time as a teacher helper so she could spend more time with Miss Krejci, who she adored. Emma and Mrs. Stucker had so many inside jokes that it was like the two of them were speaking in code, and Mrs. Kane was great with keeping Emma challenged as she tended to finish her work quickly and needed more to keep her busy. We also had to sneak over to the ECC and bid our farewells to Norah's teachers and Miss Genae, who has been so critical in the girls love for school. We will miss her so much next year, but the prison system is getting the most exceptional reading teacher ever!! All three girls have established great friendships and each day I am so thankful that their school is a place they love.
