Sunday we decided for the hottest day of the year we should travel North to check out the Waterloo airshow. What doesn't scream fun about walking around on a shade-less tarmac in blazing hot sun!? Though the temperatures soared to near unbearable heights, so did our fun. Norah's love of air transportation was definitely peaked (her love of helicopters is almost comical) and though the big girls could care less about airplanes, they loved being able to hang with their cousins for the day and visit their aunts cute, new place. Luckily we were well-prepared for the day with noise-cancelling headsets, lots of sunscreen, umbrellas and a stroller for that hot, weary walk back to the car.
Emma loved playing the, "I can't hear you" card.
Norah was thankful for the "earmuffs" too.
We walked through an AMAZING 9-11 memorial.
Grace thought the "Miss Mitchell" was the plane she wanted to fly.
Everything's more fun with cousins around!
The shade of the planes was a great place to hang.
Anna and Grace had it all figured out for in between demonstrations.
Even on tip-toes Norah didn't stand a chance of being taller than the tires.
Though the parachuters were pretty cool (and incredibly accurate on their lands) the formation fliers were our favorite.
