This weekend we headed to Honey Creek for the Miller Reunion. Each family had a cabin and our cabins all faced the same cul-de-sac so it was the perfect way to let all the kids run and play without worrying about traffic. Friday we started off playing games out front, then headed to the waterpark! We celebrated Morgyn's birthday Friday night and ended with a few drinks around the bonfire and a game of Pitch.
Saturday we celebrated Jasmin and Mom's birthdays. We really surprised mom when we all busted out our "Lorie's 60th Birthday" shirts and sang to her.
Aunt Marilyn (my grandma's sister) came up for the night as well. It was fun to reminisce with her a bit and the girls had fun playing with her grandkids, Charlie and Ryan.
Let the games begin! With a few 'minute-to-win-it games' we held our first Miller Olympics! Each family battled for bragging rights. There may be a need for more specific directions next year as there was definitely some creative advantages for thinking outside the box in a few of the games!
The glowstick ring toss had to be the hardest...good thing we had a good bonfire going so you could see where you were throwing!
All lined up and waiting for mom to walk in so we could surprise her with our shirts!
Cousins everywhere. Norah loved playing with the littlest cousins, Ann, Jane, and baby Max. The older girls had a blast with Camille, Brandt, Brody, and Gwenyn.
Of course without mention, they ADORE their first cousins as well!
It was a relaxing, fun-filled weekend at the lake. Now, to convince Mark that after our fun family kayaking trip we should invest in our own kayak! Grace was a pro at it, Norah loved to ride, and Emma even paddled me around the lake a bit!
