Sunday after church we decided to follow the call of the Honey Crisp out to Wilsons Apple Orchard. We usually hit up Honey Creek Acres as our go-to orchard, but decided this would be the year to see what all the hype was about at Wilsons. We were not disappointed! With a huge orchard and tons of delicious apples to choose from we picked about 5 lbs of Honey Crisp to snack on. It was a fun day with delicious food, but it wasn't enough to coerce us into changing orchards. I have a feeling we'll be making a second trip to the orchard this year and returning to Honey Creek Acres. The girls really enjoy the hayrack ride, the games, the honeybees and the pumpkins at Honey Creek Acres. As an added bonus, it is closer to home as well!
Norah had an eye for the cute little snack apples.
Buckets ready, let's pick some apples!
The girls didn't mess around...they were on an apple picking mission.
Norah liked snacking as we walked...seriously the best apple I've ever tasted!
Emma was a rescuer...she saved the ones on the ground from rotting.
Daddy knows all the great spots!
"Bessie" took us on a hayride through the alligators over to the orchard.
Of course, we had to sample some apple doughnuts also!
And some delicious apple slushies too!

Honey Creek beats Wilson's?! I've only been to Wilson's (around here) and can't imagine anything much better. Thanks for the recommendation.
