Gone Girl

Remember how I said we'd be better at Date Night? Well, our last "date" was in September to the Hawk game, so we tried really hard to find a night we could sneak away before October came to a close. I'm slightly infatuated with Gillian Flynn right now, so I really wanted to see "Gone Girl." We thought we would try out Butcher Block for dinner, but it was an hour wait. As much as I would have loved to belly up to the bar and wait it out, Grace needed to be picked up from a play date between dinner and our movie, so we were actually on a little bit of a schedule. As luck would have it, Tings is a favorite and it was right around the corner. I forget how much I love uninterrupted conversation with Mark. It was an awesome night to catch up, laugh, and discuss anything and everything but children. If you haven't seen "Gone Girl" I highly recommend it as well. Time to plan the next date night!
