Chattanooga Choo Choo

After Ruby Falls we played on the playground for a bit as it was nice and shady and a great way to acclimate ourselves from the cool of the cave, back to the steamy hot Chattanooga day.

From there we headed downtown to see the Chattanooga Choo-Choo. Had we planned better we would have spent the night in a sleeper car at the hotel, but with the heat, we were a little nervous it would be too hot. However, the hotel is beautiful, and the gardens outside of the train station are a close second. It was fun to tour the trains, and though we were hoping to take a ride on the Chattanooga trolley, it was undergoing scheduled maintenance. We decided to grab a little lunch and head to Nashville.

Watch out...Norah's at the helm, running the brakes.

Boarding the Chattanooga Choo-Choo.

The hotel was beautiful, but undergoing renovations, so many parts of it were unable to be viewed. However, the lobby was an amazing look back at this incredible train station.
