While we were in Manchester this weekend, Mark and I were lucky enough to sneak away and celebrate my birthday, just the two of us. After our white water experience, the two of us floated our way down the Maquoketa and had a little time to relax and chat. It was so peaceful floating down the river, but we decided our float was a little too short to cover everything we wanted to discuss. Lucky for us...Mark's parents offered to put the girls to bed so we could head into town to check out the new brews at Franklin Street Brewery.
A flight and a few of our favorite pints were the perfect way to catch up on all of the conversations that have been interrupted lately. 34 was a crazy year...I like that it ended with time spent with family, relaxation and a date night.
Cheers to 35...it's going to be a great year!

I hope you liked the brewery. It's awesome they have outdoor seating now.
