During the school year I try to nurture friendships when I can, but let's be honest, friends definitely get neglected among work and family commitments. We love having the summer to catch up with friends and check out new places. After a broken splash pad at Thomas, we headed over to one of our favorite parks (a hidden gem in a residential area that is always empty) that just added a new splash pad! Who knew?! The girls had a great time splashing around with Collin and I loved getting a chance to catch up with Carla. It has been far too long!
Apparently the water doesn't usually back up like this, but it was the perfect amount to fill water buckets and squirt guns!
