The littlest is always the hardest to send off to school as the youngest epitomizes "the last." However, Norah has made it quite easy on us. She was confident that school was going to be great, and she's quite social once she gets comfortable so there was no question of if she was ready. She marched in to school as if she owned the place. Drop-off was great...end of the day pick-up, however, ended in tears.
Ready for the first day, feeling good about who she is.
A whole lot of sass to support that big back pack.
Our adventurous Miss Norah took a face-plant into the playground and ended up missing her first day of preschool for a little emergency trip to the dentist. She didn't knock out any teeth, but she did scrape away all of the gum tissue that supports about 4 of her bottom teeth. The dentist numbed her up, cut away the damaged tissue that was still hanging by a thread, and took some x-rays to make sure her teeth weren't damaged. Hopefully day 2 of preschool proves to be less eventful. She was really sad to miss part of her first day of school. Her teacher reassured us that she was there for the important parts and only missed out on recess!
