This past weekend we headed to Lake Ahquabi for the Miller family reunion. Though we were missing our Oregon family and a cousin from Utah, it was a great time to catch up with family.
After a delicious potluck meal at the lodge, we headed to the beach for swimming and paddle boarding. Grace and Emma did a great job of balancing and paddling us around the lake. It was definitely hard to paddle in a against the wind, but they did great!
It was fun to see how quickly the kiddos picked up where they left off last time we saw each other. Brody was so great to play with the girls.
We then headed into Des Moines for a yummy dinner and some swimming at the hotel.
