Grace has been studying crayfish this year in 4th grade science. For the past few weeks we have been finding small slips of paper hidden around the house as reasons why we should welcome one of these little creatures home.
Reason 1: I'm very responsible.
Reason 2: I'm very trustworthy.
Reason 3: I know what they eat, I won't let it starve.
Reason 4: I'm pet-less. (that one tugged at the heart-strings a bit).
Reason 5: I'll take good care of it.
I'll clean it's cage by myself, they are easy to take care of.
