Day 15 - North Platte

We split our drive home and spent the night in North Platte, Nebraska to squeeze all the fun out of vacation as possible. In North Platte we saw Buffalo Bill's Ranch, checked out Nebraskaland Days, and ended our day at Cody Park. This park is incredible with an awesome Buffalo Bill memorial, Union Pacific Rail cars, animals to feed (elk, peacocks, llamas, etc), and numerous children's rides. Though Nebraska is long and flat, North Platte offers a great midway point between Estes Park and Omaha with lots to offer.
Norah was more interested in her quarter to ride the carousel than her mom taking 'another' picture!

The rides were great, and at only a quarter...an awesome bargain!

The girls loved the antique carousel.

Plus, a cool treat to finish off a great night in the park.

We woke up in North Platte and spent our morning swimming and lounging avoiding having to see our vacation come to an end. 6 hours later, home sweet home.
