Today's appt ran a little long as Will was being a stinker and landed us having to do another NST. We didn't pass it in the first 20 minutes, so we hung out for a while trying reach our goals for the next 20 minutes. Finally, we decided he's just too stubborn. His heart rate looked steady, so we decided to stop picking on him. Though he has been pretty quiet lately, ice cream always does the trick to get his kick counts up, so I guess we'll keep going that route. It's a tough job, but I think I'll manage. :)
Will can't quite decide which position he wants to be in. He rotates between transverse and breech and we're hoping he's just building up momentum so he can flip over and be ready for his big debut. The doctors are concerned he won't be able to flip on his own, so we may have to do a little external version...yikes...but we've got time. I think he's hanging out breech because he knows we don't want him to come too early.
Things are getting tight enough in there that we can see his movement now. The girls have enjoyed being able to see him in addition to feel him. He gets the hiccups all.the.time so he gives them a good show almost every day now.
