For Grace's birthday, my sister pre-ordered a copy of, "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" for her so that she could be one of the first to be able to read it, (and God bless her, we didn't have to fight the crowds to get her a copy). She has been counting down the days until the midnight madness arrived, but thanks to snail mail, the madness came and went, but the mail did not. As her friends became hermits reading the newest book, she patiently awaited her copy to arrive so that she could be a part of the excitement. Finally, the doorbell rang yesterday and she sprinted to see what it was! She tore open her package, and we haven't seen her since. My goal was to finish all 7 books before the 8th came out...I have a few hundred pages to go, so I'm hopeful to find a bit of time as well to finish off the 7th book before she finishes so that I'm ready to knock it out when she is done. I love that my kids enjoying reading as much as I do and that they are getting old enough we can share authors and recommendations. Thanks, Aunt Nisa for a fabulous gift!
