Apple Orchard

Sunday we decided to venture out for a bit to enjoy the beautiful day so that Will and I could get a bit of fresh air after being cooped up all week. The girls really wanted him to be able to experience a trip to the apple orchard. Since he doesn't tolerate car rides well, we took a short trip up the road to Allen's Orchard for a stroll through the trees and a taste of their delicious apple donuts. Though we're a bit late this year for "honeycrisp" weekend, a trip to the orchard is always a highlight to the fall and we busted out of our comfort zone to try some new apple varieties this year. I highly recommend the Honeygold. A little more tart than we prefer, they were still delicious. Of course the apple cider and donuts were excellent as always.

All 6 of us took a hayride through the orchard.

The apples of my eye. ;)

Check out this cute tractor swing made from tires. Norah's favorite part of the orchard.

Ready to pick some apples.
