This past weekend the school where I work put on it's second annual 'Dancing with the Saints' event to raise funds for technology needs. We attended last year and had such a great time, (and raised enough to purchase additional school vans) but were hesitant to buy tickets this year given the unknown adventures we had going on with Will. They sold out (900 seats) in 3 days. Lucky for us, we've got good friends and parents looking out for us and we were able to join their table. It was a much-needed night out and, more importantly, brought our community together to support Catholic education. The evening raised over $110,000 and gave us all an opportunity to realize what a gift a supportive community can be to everyone.
