Rainbow day

After a rain postponement on Friday and a bit of a rain delay on Monday, the girls finally were able to celebrate rainbow day at school. They look forward to this day each year as the split off into their color assigned teams and run through an array of challenges. Grace and Norah were on the same team this year and I was a bit biased toward their team since it is Norah's first rainbow day and Grace's last. Emma represented the pink team well though and it wasn't long and we all met up for lunch together. (Emma then ditched us for her friends anyway, so she must not have been too heartbroken.)
5th grade girls on their last rainbow day.
Love these girls, so thankful I was able to have the lunch hour with them.
It was a soggy day, we were sure we would see real rainbows.
Soggy socks are no match for the jumpy house.
Clear skies for our sack lunch together.
