We pulled in to Washington about 2am, (surprisingly feeling pretty good after an 18 hour day of driving) and dropped the girls in bed. My parents were leaving at 6am to head to my sisters, so we didn't get to see them before they were up and out, so we didn't stay long and headed for our last stop of vacation, Will.
Of course, we got a fair number of kitty snuggles in before we left. |
We were excited to tell Will all about our trip and leave our favorite shells from the beach with him. It was also the day we had been waiting 7 months for because his memorial is finally finished! They poured the pad and set the stone while we were on vacation.
Our favorite shells for our favorite boy. |
From Will we headed "home." We were all excited to spend some time at the new house. I was thankful we got as much unpacked and settled before we left as we did, but there is still so much to be done. Even though we've only spent a few days there, it already feels like home. More on that post later!
