It's crazy to believe, but my little sister turned 30. She wanted a quiet little family get together to celebrate. We dropped the kids all together to play with their cousins and had a little adult night out in the big city of Kalona. With a little Mexican (complete with sombrero and singing to embarrass her properly) we started with margaritas and ended with fried ice cream in proper fashion.

We then walked across the way to the brewery and tried out a few beverages. This cute little brewery was the perfect cozy spot for a low-key celebration.
Cute glasses, good drinks, a warm fire and great people.
