Saturday Mark and I had the privilege of attending a beautiful wedding that, no doubt, was the beginning of an even more beautiful marriage. My former student and now co-worker, Jenny, has an incredible heart and love for God. In high school she would frequent my classroom and we would hang out discussing life, Catholicism and the plans that God had in store for her. She lovingly called me, "mom" and I have to laugh that she often times still does. Any mother would be lucky to call her their daughter and I know that her own extraordinary mother (and now mother-in-law) cherish having this title. She has met an equally amazing man and I adore watching her light up each time she looks at him or talks about him. They chose to marry on the feast day of Padre Pio, one of my favorites, and it so perfectly encapsulates their relationship and goals to be servants of God and of each other.
