Day 15

You may have noticed, but somehow everything I am thankful for somehow always came back to my 4 favorite people. I challenged myself to make it at least halfway through my month of gratitude before I would share my thanks for the amazing people I live with and I just can't hold out any longer. So today (and everyday) I am thankful for Mark. The patience through my impatience, the saver through my spending, and the calm through my chaos. It amazes me to think that one person can possess all of the qualities of a good person, good husband and good father; but he carries them all. He is hard-working, yet always puts his family first. He (literally as well as figuratively) leaves his work at the door when he comes home and does not touch it until after the girls go to bed. He devotes his time to the girls, making them feel special, unique and loved. He is considerate, kind and forgiving. He is extremely positive and can find the good in anyone and anything. He is honest, faithful and reliable. He never expects anything from anyone, but instills this desire in you to want to be better at everything you do. He showers us with affection and unconditional love. I don't mean to put him on a pedestal as everyone has their faults, (just ask him about the label maker) but he is the most incredible person I have ever met...and I just-so-happen to be lucky enough to spend every day with him.
