Day 14

Today I am thankful for friends. The ones I see and the ones I don't. As I posted earlier, my intentions to catch up with friends and let them know they are special are much more frequent than my follow through, but I am thankful that they stick around anyway. I am thankful for my high school friends who cover the country but still take a minute or two to message me or catch up on life through FB. I am thankful for college friends, a lot of which still live close, and enjoy bumping into them from time to time for a quick recap on life. I am thankful for work friends who are an amazing group of people that listen and offer sound advice -- even though I no longer see them as frequently as I'd like. I am thankful for friends in our neighborhood that provide an outlet when days become monotonous and I need a change of scenery. Whether acquaintances or friends, I have met some incredible people in my life and I am thankful for even the smallest kindnesses that they have shared with me.
