Happy December 1st! We were so excited to start our countdown to Christmas calendar this morning. The girls pulled their first tag..."Go to a holiday play or musical" so tonight we headed out to see "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever." Irony at its best...it might have been the worst play we've seen, but it was still a fun night out as a family. More fun yet was coming out of the play and hearing the girls excitement to see it snowing. Grace said, "Oh my gosh! It's raining snow!" What a great start to December.
Perhaps the most fun of the day was our elf "Tiny." Last night Emma touched Tiny and all night the girls were worried that she had last her magic. The relief on their faces this morning when they found Tiny out of her box and in the window above the patio door was incredible. Tiny returned from the North Pole with a letter from Santa. The girls were nervous to grab it as they might accidently touch Tiny so they got out the binoculars to see who it was from and if we should grab it or not. The looks on the girls faces as Mark read the letter from Santa was priceless.
