No shock that Emma was our first girl to get x-rays taken of possible broken bones. She was playing with friends and jumped and hit the wall (gracefully, of course) just wrong. Check out that swollen right foot! Her crazy mama told her to walk it off, so 5 days later we find ourselves at urgent care getting some x-rays taken. I swear, it wasn't that swollen when it happened! She was a star patient though and smiled through it all! Turns out, just a bad sprain. At the end of week 2 she is still favoring her other foot a little bit, but it isn't slowing her down too much. She is tired of the rest, ice, compression, elevation routine...but we're thankful nothing is broken!
