Day 3 of the Dells brought us to Chula Vista. With an indoor and outdoor water park we knew there would be fun for everyone. It was about 10 minutes north of the Dells in a beautiful location right off the river.
Goodbye, Hotel Atlantis!
Hello, super fun water slides! We started with the indoor since in was early and still a bit chilly outside. With 11 slides, a lazy river, a basketball pool, a croc walk, and a kid pool, there was more than enough to keep us busy!
After lunch we headed outside to race eachother on the "Matador."
I couldn't believe what daredevils the girls were. At the top of these "drop" slides, you can't see over the edge, they truly drop straight down. It was fun to see how the girls tackle fear. You could tell they were both nervous, Grace took her time and mentally prepared herself at the top. Emma must have known if she spent any time thinking about it she would chicken out, she sat right down and pushed herself over the edge. The smiles at the bottom when they realized they had done it were priceless!
Checking out how the dolphins live...
Norah still loves her naps...we figured since she was so sleepy she could sneak her snooze in at Chula Vista and the girls could have a few extra hours to play before we headed for home.
Audrey Hepburn and I had a great time chillin with Norah while Grace and daddy headed off for one more round of slides before we hit the road!
