I'm bored...

Summers are my favorite time of year. No doubt, because I'm not working and every day brings a new adventure. I am so thankful that the words "I'm bored" have yet to cross the lips of my babes. They have never come to me with this phrase, perhaps because they know what I would say, or perhaps (I shutter to think) that they are overly-scheduled...but I was blessed with kids with imagination and adventure. Every day they have a new idea or scheme and take on different roles to play it out. Librarians, veterinarians, moms, astronauts, taxi drivers, you name it! My favorite...the day they played "church" and one was a priest and the other was a deacon, (not sure where all the nuns went?!) Norah was a faithful mass attendant who doubled as the choir and greeter!
Engineer day...constructing jump rope roads from the school, to the carwash, to the hospital...

Doctor day...Norah fell very ill, complete with straws for her ventilator, this white coat nurse and doctor had all the right prescriptions.
