Bucket List

At the beginning of summer we always create a "Bucket List" of things that we want to do while we have the chance. It's not an official list (I wish I was as organized as my friend Michele who has a chalkboard countdown) but it is a surefire way to make sure everyone gets to do something they like. Each year the "ice cream man" tops the list. As a kid I lived in the country so hell would have frozen over before a tasty treat was to drive right by my house, so it makes me laugh to see the girls run frantically to find money the second they hear that sweet music enter into our neighborhood. With a new ice cream shop just up the street, the ice cream man has been replaced by Kona Ice. Ice cream is one of my pitfalls so having shaved ice treats driving by will definitely cut down on my desire to race out for yummy treats. That sugary syrup kind of grosses me out so this is one bucket list item I am glad we can cross off! 

Did I mention this was right BEFORE dinner?! Another downfall of shaved ice, you can't stash them in the freezer until after dinner like ice cream treats. 

But, oh...the choices! Rainbows for everyone!
