In Summer...

We have finally hit our summer routine. We have settled back in from the craziness of traveling and having the girls on lots of different schedules while we were gone. Major shout out to the numerous people who helped pick up the slack while we were traveling...especially after they cancelled our flight and we found ourselves in NYC for an extra night and day and without flinching people called to make sure the girls were taken care of while we figured out how to get home.
We have settled into summer and we're loving how it feels. We have one fun activity planned each day and I am amazed by their creativity in planning this and their lack of repetition of events. From our planned activity each day I have been trying to be a "yes" mom and see where the day takes us from there. The girls have learned to get their "chores" done early so that we have the entire day to play and they are pretty easy to please and travel around with this summer. The older girls have a great understanding that Norah still needs an afternoon nap and they have gotten really creative in how they spend their time. Each day has been something different and I am in love with all of the FREE events that our city has to offer. Have I mentioned lately how much I LOVE where we live?! Since I got a little behind in blogging I will post a few "catch up" posts, but I'm hopeful I'll be a better blogger now that we have established a more stable routine around our house. Excited for the shenanigans that await with these ladies!
Who could these mustached mystery ladies be?
