We have had a great time playing with Ketels boys this summer. With three boys about the same ages as the girls, they compliment our family nicely...not to mention the girls are in LOVE with baby Walter. Who wouldn't fall in love with his cuteness though?! After Gretchen and I were both in need of babysitters, we decided to do a little kid swap. One of the things on our "bucket list" this summer was to make some Moon Dough, so what better day than with these science nuts! With just two ingredients it is simple to make and creates hours of fun.
Moon Dough
1 c. baby oil
8 c. flour
It is a little messy to make so I recommend making it outside, but once it is made it sticks nicely and has easy clean up. I prefer it to play doh.
Mixing to find the perfect consistency.
6 kids + 1 plastic ball = a sweaty greenhouse of fun...

Wow! I had'nt checked the blog for a while...what amazing pictures! Thanks so much for sharing them with us. I beg to differ with you on one thing...... I,too, am amazed at the girls' imagination & creativity. But it did't just drop on them...much of it came from your continual encouragement & support of their ideas and teaching them to use their bright minds and offering a "tweek" here and there to achieve that end result. All children need parents like both of you and as they are blessed, so am I!!
